We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant I to join our team at Open Door Community Health Centers. As a Medical Assistant I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience preferred.
- State or national certification as a medical assistant (MA) or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
