About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Public Safety Liaison to join our team at Lycoming College. As a key member of our Public Safety team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our campus community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including alarms, emergencies, and other incidents.
  • Communicate with the Campus Community: Communicate clearly and respectfully with all members of the campus community, including students, faculty, and staff.
  • Manage Lost and Found Property: Accept and return lost and found property in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Complete Communication Logs: Maintain accurate and detailed communication logs, including radio and telephone logs.
  • Assist with Emergency Response: Assist local law enforcement, fire, and other emergency service agencies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Proven customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain a working knowledge of college policies and procedures.
