Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead our team of phlebotomists and oversee the daily operations of our Patient Service Centers and designated client locations.

About the Role:

  • Supervise a team of phlebotomists and ensure efficient patient flow and wait times.
  • Manage inventory levels, information logs, and monthly productivity reports.
  • Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules and perform operational duties such as payroll and performance appraisals.
  • Partner with Human Resources to address employee relations issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Hire and train phlebotomists to fill open positions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including patients, client office staff, and senior management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient or client issues.
  • Travel to additional sites as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous LabCorp experience preferred.
  • 1-3+ years of prior experience in a leadership position highly preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist is highly preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years' old and have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
