We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead our team of phlebotomists and oversee the daily operations of our Patient Service Centers and designated client locations.
About the Role:
- Supervise a team of phlebotomists and ensure efficient patient flow and wait times.
- Manage inventory levels, information logs, and monthly productivity reports.
- Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules and perform operational duties such as payroll and performance appraisals.
- Partner with Human Resources to address employee relations issues and disciplinary actions.
- Hire and train phlebotomists to fill open positions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including patients, client office staff, and senior management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient or client issues.
- Travel to additional sites as necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous LabCorp experience preferred.
- 1-3+ years of prior experience in a leadership position highly preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is highly preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years' old and have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
