Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant I to join our team at UNC Medical Center. As a Nursing Assistant I, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including vital sign measurement, specimen collection, and wound care.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Listing as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • 6 months of relevant nursing assistant experience preferred.
