Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring precision and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Examine financial data to uncover trends, variances, and areas for enhancement.
  • Oversee and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and uphold financial integrity.
  • Assist with external audits and tax submissions, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
  • Remain informed on industry regulations and accounting standards to guarantee compliance and best practices.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as directed by senior management, recommending strategies to reduce costs and boost revenue.
  • Review financial statements for inconsistencies and notify the controller as necessary.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure precise reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Assist in the formulation and assessment of budgets, preparing budget reports.
  • Prepare federal, state, local, and specialized tax returns.
  • Contribute to the development of new or revised accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite: 3 years (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with Inventory Control (Preferred).
