POSITION OVERVIEW
The Integrated Correction Health Services (ICHS) was created to improve healthcare quality and access for individuals in County jails. ICHS is responsible for the implementation and management of comprehensive medical, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment services for inmates. The organization also ensures continuity of care as individuals transition back into the community by coordinating with County departments and community organizations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the contracts for Integrated Correctional Health Services (ICHS), ensuring budget compliance and monitoring expenditures to remain within contract limits.
  • Collaborate with Contract & Grants analysts and the ICHS program office to assess contract requirements, validate funding availability, and adhere to County policies while complying with Federal and State regulations.
  • Prepare Financial Performance Analysis (FPA) reports, including financial documentation for Services & Supplies, Registry, Physician and Specialty Contracts, Capital Assets, and Other Charges and Revenues to track expenditure and revenue patterns.
  • Complete additional assignments as directed by the Finance lead.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Minimum of four years in a role focused on analyzing and recommending solutions for organizational, programmatic, procedural, budgetary, or personnel challenges.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least twenty-one (21) semester units or thirty-two (32) quarter units in accounting, including two (2) advanced courses in areas such as cost accounting and auditing.
Certificates/Licenses:
  • Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize alternative transportation methods as necessary for job functions.
  • Successful completion of the Live Scan background check with the County of Los Angeles.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
