Position Title: High Level Disinfection & Sterilization Support Specialist

Overview:
We are in search of a committed HLDS Support Specialist who will play a vital role in supporting Sterile Processing Departments across various locations. This position is a direct-hire opportunity that combines practical responsibilities with collaborative leadership efforts. If you have a strong interest in healthcare and sterile processing, and thrive in a role that merges fieldwork with teamwork, this position may be an excellent match for your skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and sanitize surgical trays within the Sterile Processing Department.
  • Deliver High Level Disinfection and Sterilization support as required.
  • Assist in data reporting, including budget trend analysis, statistics, and patient satisfaction metrics.
  • Work alongside SPD leadership to formulate and enforce departmental policies.
  • Manage financial reconciliation and variance assessments.
  • Travel to various healthcare sites as necessary.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification: CRCST certification from IAHCSMM or CSPDT certification from CBSPD (CRCST preferred).
Experience:
3-5 years of experience as a sterile processing technician, with a background in project management and staff training.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or Education.
Work Hours:
  • 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts required.
Job Type: Full-time

Compensation:
Starting at $50,071.00 annually
