Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate instruments and equipment to prevent the spread of infection
  • Assemble and sterilize instrument trays for surgical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Meet the minimum requirements for education and experience as outlined below
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education preferred
  • Certification as a Certified Sterile Processing Tech (CRCST) or International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) required
  • One year of previous job-related experience required; 3-5 years of previous job-related experience preferred
