Aerospace Manufacturing Specialist

Responsibilities
Location:
Kinston, NC
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to formulate and oversee the manufacturing and tooling strategy for programs.
Facilitates the identification and application of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies while enhancing manufacturing workflows in alignment with design specifications.
Applies process engineering methodologies and techniques. Establishes and directs requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations.
Conducts trade and cost analyses and plays a pivotal role in leading integrated product and process teams.
Demonstrates proficiency in one or more of the following domains: Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems, and Structures.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Possesses educational qualifications that meet the standards for engineering roles at Spirit, typically requiring 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with fabrication, assembly, and integration of structures and tooling concepts.
Ability to identify optimal processes, assist in design development, and oversee the manufacturing of structural assemblies.
Experience with:

Hands-on expertise with CATIA and SAP
