Role Summary: As a Part-Time Universal Banker, you will deliver a comprehensive suite of banking services to individual clients, encompassing both transactional and advisory functions. This role emphasizes personalized banking solutions while maintaining traditional service standards, contributing to the achievement of branch objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates all banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and processing loan payments through the bank's digital platforms.
- Assists in the opening of new deposit and checking accounts, providing necessary explanations of products and managing deceased accounts. Aids in maintaining documentation and daily operational records.
- Engages with clients to assess their financial needs and recommends suitable banking products. Promotes the bank's offerings and collaborates with various departments to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
- Prepares daily transaction reports and assists with end-of-day closing activities, including documentation and record-keeping.
- Maintains precise customer and account information, including safe deposit box records and branch documentation.
- Refers clients to specialized departments such as Wealth Management and Mortgage Origination as needed.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in retail or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with financial products is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.
- Availability to work weekends as necessary.
- Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Completion of mandatory training is required for continued employment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
