Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates all banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and processing loan payments through the bank's digital platforms.
  • Assists in the opening of new deposit and checking accounts, providing necessary explanations of products and managing deceased accounts. Aids in maintaining documentation and daily operational records.
  • Engages with clients to assess their financial needs and recommends suitable banking products. Promotes the bank's offerings and collaborates with various departments to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Prepares daily transaction reports and assists with end-of-day closing activities, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Maintains precise customer and account information, including safe deposit box records and branch documentation.
  • Refers clients to specialized departments such as Wealth Management and Mortgage Origination as needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with financial products is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.
  • Availability to work weekends as necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Completion of mandatory training is required for continued employment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
