Transportation Specialist

Seabury Resources for Aging is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to transport senior participants to and from recreational activities, sites, and special events. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring the well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily safety inspection checks on assigned vehicles
- Ensure the daily upkeep and cleanliness of vehicles, including COVID-19 precautions
- Transport participants safely and courteously to and from their destinations
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle use and perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload passengers on/off vehicles, utilizing a four-point securement of wheelchairs and scooters
- Transport passengers with disabilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Driver's License
- CDL is a plus
- 25 years of age or older
- No tickets or points on Driver's License within the last 3 years
- Accident and traffic violation-free record
- Familiarity with traveling in and around the Washington, DC, metropolitan area
- Large vehicle driving experience of at least 3 years (12 passenger vans)
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the population's needs
- Preferred Bilingual
