Maintenance Technician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jones Street Residential. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with groundskeeping, general repairs, carpentry, and painting requirements of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all vacant units are prepared for occupancy by completing tasks such as painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Respond to service requests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that all assigned requests are completed successfully and promptly.
- Maintain grounds, amenity areas, and breezeways to ensure a high level of property appearance and resident satisfaction.
- Work at a fast pace without impacting quality, ensuring enough time for other maintenance personnel to complete their functions in the make-ready process.
- Develop a rapport with residents by providing superior customer service and ensuring a positive resident experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary to support the maintenance team.
- 1 year of experience in residential, commercial, or mechanical maintenance.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to easily conform to shifting priorities and timelines.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Experience with paint sprayer equipment is a plus.
