Job Title: Behavior Technician

At ACES, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining safety within the school environment by responding to behavior events and working collaboratively with school personnel.
  • Under the direction of Administrators and Behavior Analysts, work to maintain trusting and positive relationships with students; offering support and positive programming.
  • Maintain necessary documentation of behavior events and required data consistent with state reporting.
  • Attend team meetings as designed for the assigned program.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate with two years related experience.
  • Eligible for V endorsement for CT license (without restriction).
  • Completes RBT certification from the BACB within 10 months of hire date.
  • Completes all components of ACES Safety Management Training within six-months of hire.
