Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Behavior Technician I. This position is responsible for assisting in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with school personnel to respond to behavior events and maintain a positive relationship with students.
  • Work under the direction of Administrators and Behavior Analysts to develop and implement individualized behavior management programs.
  • Collect and maintain data on behavior events and provide regular updates to supervisors.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide support to teaching staff and students in the acquisition and mastery of educational curriculum.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate with two years of related experience.
  • Eligible for "V" endorsement for CT license (without restriction).
  • Ability to complete RBT certification from the BACB within 10 months of hire date.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
