About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven professional to join our team as a Business Intelligence Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and delivering insights from data to help us operate at scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Own, design, develop, document, and manage scalable solutions for new and ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, visualizations, and dashboards to support business needs
- Own and develop queries and data visualizations for ad-hoc, recurring, troubleshooting requests and projects, as well as for ongoing reporting by leveraging SQL, Redshift, QuickSight, and Tableau skillsets
- Dive deep to understand frameworks utilized for storing data and different tools and solutions used to gain access to it
- Use data mining, data modeling, data warehousing, and other analytical techniques to develop and maintain customer segmentation and predictive models to drive the business
- Design and drive experiments to form actionable recommendations

Requirements

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc.
