Job Summary:

As a licensed mental health professional, you will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for adult members with a range of mental health needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring high-quality care and effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental illness.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and research methods.
  • Instruct and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment adherence and medication regimens.
  • Administer specialized therapeutic procedures as needed, and provide support to members and their families.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate, confidential records, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
  • Knowledge of DSM-V, social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks and objectives in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity, commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a multidisciplinary clinic.
