Position Overview:

The Regional Manager is tasked with the promotion and effective utilization of CSL Behring's product offerings while overseeing all facets of business development within the designated territory. This role involves fostering and sustaining relationships with essential stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners. The Regional Manager is expected to generate demand for the promoted products while showcasing robust clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive product promotion and enhance product usage among targeted call points, such as healthcare professionals, hospitals, patient support organizations, distributors, and specialty pharmacies. Cultivate advocates for the promoted products.
  • Accountable for establishing new accounts and expanding existing ones through strong customer relationships, effective communication of technical product information, and proficient territory management.
  • Formulate and execute territory business strategies aligned with corporate objectives aimed at achieving or surpassing sales targets. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, competitive offerings, and distribution channels.
  • Implement strategic marketing initiatives to boost market share for key promoted products.
  • Ensure appropriate call frequency with assigned targets and adjust as necessary to align with current product focus.
  • Stay informed about current clinical literature and technical advancements from medical journals and other credible sources.
  • Utilize the CSL selling model effectively, demonstrating skills in opening, probing, listening, and closing during customer interactions.
  • Engage actively with patient support organizations as appropriate, adhering to CSL Behring's standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor relevant market trends and opportunities, communicating insights effectively to management.
  • Represent CSL Behring at local customer engagements to enhance visibility of CSL Behring's products and services.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including potential weekend commitments for select customer or corporate events.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline is required.

A minimum of five years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or relevant fields is essential.

Experience with patient advocacy groups, specialty pharmacies, and distribution channels is advantageous.

Demonstrated ability to manage a large geographical area effectively is preferred.
