Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our team at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. As a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist, you will provide comprehensive health care to patients in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including teaching and training residents and medical students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine, including consultations and deliveries.
  • Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in clinical Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including APPs, sonographers, diabetes educators, perinatal nutritionists, and a genetic counselor.
  • Develop and deliver academic presentations, and participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Share call responsibilities with other team members.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in mentoring and training residents and medical students.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce scholarly activity.
