Join Our Team as a Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist to join our team at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria. As a faculty member, you will provide clinical care to patients admitted to Children's Hospital of Illinois and ambulatory clinics. You will also participate in teaching medical students and residents, and scholarly activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care to patients with pediatric infectious diseases
  • Teach medical students and residents in pediatric infectious disease
  • Conduct clinical and/or translational research in pediatric infectious disease
  • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Pediatric Infectious Disease
  • Eligibility for licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
