Pediatric Cardiology Faculty Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pediatric cardiologist to join our team at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. As a faculty member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and contributing to the advancement of pediatric cardiology research.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in pediatric cardiology
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pediatric cardiology research projects
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent
  • Board certification or eligibility in pediatric cardiology
  • Eligibility for licensure in Illinois
  • 3 years of pediatric residency and 3 years of pediatric cardiology fellowship or equivalent
  • Significant experience or formal training in pediatric cardiac imaging (Echo, TEE, Fetal, or CT/MRI)
