Opportunity Overview

OSF HealthCare Children s Hospital of Illinois is a leading pediatric hospital in Illinois, providing comprehensive care to children. We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Medicine Specialist to join our team.

  • Conduct routine examinations, diagnose and treat various ENT conditions using minimally invasive techniques.
  • Perform surgical procedures such as myringotomy, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and nasal surgery.
  • Collaborate with other pediatric specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.
  • Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students through affiliation with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
  • Access to a world-class research and simulation center that replicates various patient care settings.
  • Patient population and equipment available to perform the full range of otolaryngology procedures.

As a Pediatric Medicine Specialist at OSF HealthCare, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, high-quality patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice medicine in current state. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.

Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.

Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
