Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Simulation Integration Engineer to join our team at The MITRE Corporation. As a key member of our Simulation, Experimentation, and Gaming Department, you will design and develop simulation and game-based solutions to address our sponsors' operational, engineering, and acquisition challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to elicit sponsor requirements and determine simulation and/or integration/federation requirements for mission success
  • Design and develop simulations and federations of simulations and decision support tools for tactical, operational, and strategic military and non-military domains based on sponsor requirements
  • Lead, conduct, and participate in pre-exercise, execution, and post-execution activities for simulation and federated simulation use
Requirements
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field such as statistics, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, computer science, or related STEM program
  • 4+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: computer-based simulation design / development and integration/federation with other simulations and tools, web or computer-based game, or simulation development
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain SAP
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters or PhD in engineering or related technical field such as statistics, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, computer science, or related STEM program
  • 10+ years relevant work experience supporting government customers
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP
