Job Title: Service Coordinator

Purpose:

Environmental Specialties, a leading provider of essential equipment and services to the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries, is seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team at our Raleigh, NC office.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and communicate with Service Technicians on a daily basis to ensure efficient progress of service calls and contract work.
  • Coordinate with customers to provide accurate ETAs and communicate any changes or updates to the schedule.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow up on all outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Create work orders in our software system with accurate information provided by customers and field personnel.
  • Use a scheduling program to maintain a log of all technicians' job locations at any given time.
  • Review and approve timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist other Service Coordinators as needed to ensure seamless coverage of all areas.
  • Provide parts and repair quotes to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare all work orders for invoicing and ensure accurate billing.
  • Coordinate after-hour calls as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Heavy background in administrative support of a dispatch role.
  • Prior experience scheduling Service Technicians in construction, especially HVAC equipment industry, is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling and prioritizing multiple tasks at a time.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and self-motivation are required.
  • Driven attitude with a solid work ethic and eagerness to take on whatever demands arise.
  • Computer literacy is a must.
