Position Overview:

As a Senior Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Analyst at Nightwing, you will be instrumental in fortifying our cybersecurity framework and ensuring adherence to critical regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough internal audits to validate controls, focusing on compliance with essential cybersecurity regulations.
  • Guide the organization in achieving and sustaining CMMC certification, including readiness assessments and audit facilitation.
  • Perform detailed cybersecurity risk evaluations, identify potential vulnerabilities, and propose effective mitigation strategies for corporate networks and unique program environments.
  • Collaborate with Information System Security Officers (ISSO) to secure Authorization and Accreditation for U.S. government systems as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies and documentation to align with regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness through employee training and effective communication strategies.
  • Implement ongoing monitoring initiatives to track compliance and security status, reporting findings to management.
  • Work with Legal and Supply Chain teams to establish a framework for evaluating third-party vendors regarding cybersecurity compliance and risk management.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports and findings to senior leadership and external auditors.
  • Review outputs from Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) to assess completeness and recommend necessary actions for closure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity risk and compliance, with a strong emphasis on DFARs, NIST, and CMMC.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, CMMC).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools and technologies for managing security and risk information.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools for monitoring and compliance tracking.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
