  • Manage the configuration, administration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Oversee the setup and upkeep of servers, workstations, and network devices, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Document processes and protocols essential for maintaining a secure computing environment.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies for all accredited devices.
  • Install and configure network equipment, including firewalls and routers, to ensure robust security.

Learning Opportunities:

  • Develop expertise as a credible cybersecurity engineer with specialized skills.
  • Gain hands-on experience with virtual computing technologies.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field (STEM) or equivalent experience.

  • Strong understanding of NIST security controls and DISA STIGs.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS for network configurations.
