Job Summary

Ampsite is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security posture of our organization and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Security: Design, implement, and support security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software, to protect our network and data from unauthorized access.
  • Security Incident Response: Respond to and investigate security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats, and develop strategies to mitigate and prevent future incidents.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security threats and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect our organization.
  • Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Security Architecture: Assist in the design and implementation of security architecture to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining the security of our organization.
  • Security Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security training programs to educate employees on best security practices and raise awareness about security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Security Threat Intelligence: Monitor and analyze threat intelligence sources to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate and prevent them.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and technologies
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software
  • Experience with security incident response and vulnerability management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
  • Experience with cloud security
  • Experience with network security technologies, such as VPNs and IDS/IPS
