Position Title: Site Director

Reports To: Area Club Director

Status: Full-Time, Hourly with Benefits, Non-Exempt

Salary: $40,000 - $44,000

Primary Responsibilities:

The Site Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore. This role focuses on program delivery, staff supervision, and membership management, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all members.

Key Duties:

  • Program Oversight: Supervise Program Coordinators in developing and assessing Club programs that foster youth success and strategic outcomes.
  • Community Relations: Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and families to enhance program visibility and participation.
  • Administrative Management: Ensure accurate maintenance of attendance and enrollment records, adhering to required reporting standards.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the annual budget, ensuring financial accountability and operational efficiency.
  • Staff Development: Recruit and mentor staff, providing training opportunities to enhance their skills in program management and community engagement.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Promote Club programs through effective communication strategies, including schedules and event announcements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, overseeing facility maintenance and equipment management.
  • Collaborate with staff on special events and program implementation.
  • Support problem-solving efforts related to member behavior and program participation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with relevant experience in youth programs.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a child-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to engage in physical activities and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
