Caregiver (Cooke County)

The Caregiver/CNA/HHA is a front-line professional who represents Earthly Vessels Senior Care, providing high-quality services to clients. This role involves acting as a representative of the company, providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes.
The Caregiver/CNA/HHA will work independently and cooperatively with colleagues and supervisors, balancing good judgment and initiative. They will provide extraordinary services in compliance with regulatory requirements and the company's policies and standard operating procedures.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to clients, while also maintaining a safe and healthy environment. They will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as taking medication, providing choices and quality standard of healthy living, and assisting with ambulation and mobility.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with prescribed medication
- Help provide choices and quality standard of healthy living
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
- Assist clients with ADL/IADL Support
- Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
- Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
- Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members
- Report any incidents through ClearCare
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Caregiver Requirements:
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
