About the Job
We are seeking a highly qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Anchorage, AK. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical services to patients.
Your duties will include:
- Performing a full range of pharmacist procedures
- Counseling patients on appropriate use of medications
- Reviewing patient profiles to monitor medication therapy
- Intervening with providers for discrepancies
- Compounding medications as required
- Ensuring accuracy of pharmaceutical products prepared by technical staff
- Supervising inventory control and maintaining security of scheduled controlled substances
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college or university
- One year of professional pharmacy experience after graduation
- A current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist
- The ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance
- A current AHA OR ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification
