In this role, you will be responsible for procuring and administering a wide range of supplies and services to support the corporation's operations.

Job Summary

The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing requisitions for supplies, services, fleet purchases, professional services, and construction services. They will determine the method of procurement based on potential cost and type of commodity or service, develop and prepare solicitation documents, and evaluate quotes received for conformity with solicitation requirements. The successful candidate will have experience operating in a PC environment using Word and Excel software packages, strong communication and negotiation skills, and certification in procurement or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze requisitions for supplies, services, fleet purchases, professional services, and construction services
  • Determine the method of procurement based on potential cost and type of commodity or service
  • Develop and prepare solicitation documents
  • Evaluate quotes received for conformity with solicitation requirements
  • Execute contracts and purchase orders within delegated authority and established procurement rules
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Three (3) years of experience in contract administration or purchasing
  • Certification in procurement or a related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience operating in a PC environment using Word and Excel software packages
