Position Summary:
We are looking for a Vice President of Information Technology to lead our IT division. This executive role is pivotal in managing our internal information systems and ensuring seamless interaction across all departments. The VP of IT will guarantee system reliability, operational uptime, and user compatibility through effective leadership of the IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and upkeep of data recovery systems, imaging technologies, and RF network connections.
- Assess hardware and software needs, providing strategic recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to all operational and regulatory standards.
- Conduct continuous operational assessments, adjusting procedures and technologies to maximize IT resource availability.
- Coordinate IT projects aimed at upgrading and maintaining technological infrastructure.
- Evaluate and refine the operations of various computer-based information systems.
- Proactively monitor and manage IT resources to ensure ongoing availability and performance.
- Design and implement local area network systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Guarantee the effective functioning of information systems to support interdepartmental collaboration.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong leadership and motivational capabilities, engaging with diverse staff, management, and stakeholders.
- Manage team development through recruitment, orientation, and training, while fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
- Drive team performance by setting clear expectations, monitoring outcomes, and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Experience with New Casino Openings is essential.
- Expertise in Gaming Cybersecurity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct IT experience.
- Proficient in O365/M365 applications, including One Drive and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles, including Layer 2 and 3, VLANs, routing, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with VOiP phone systems.
- Experience with Point of Sale systems.
- Proficient in PC hardware setup, configuration, and support.
- Skilled in desktop system troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems support.
- Experienced in Office 365 Administration, including Azure AD and Exchange Online.
- Knowledgeable in virus control software applications.
- Experienced in supporting data communications infrastructure.
- Knowledgeable in backup and recovery procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.).
- Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must successfully complete a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license as required by regulatory authorities.
