Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, verifying and reconciling invoices, and preparing and processing payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and statements to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and issues, providing excellent customer service to vendors and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to financial reporting and record-keeping.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
