Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and authenticate essential financial documents, including credit reports, to finalize mortgage loan applications and assess creditworthiness.
  • Acquire property-related documentation necessary for processing mortgage loan files, such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records.
  • Act as a liaison among the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate professionals, and applicants to streamline the loan approval process.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the loan process from initiation to approval within our system.
  • Ensure that all loan files comply with banking regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing is required.
  • Experience in mortgage lending and a solid understanding of loan products, particularly FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans, is essential.
  • Exceptional analytical and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Compensation: $15 - $18 hourly
