Job Title: Vocational Nursing Clinical Coordinator

Stanbridge University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vocational Nursing Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students and the quality of our clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical partners to ensure a seamless learning experience for our students.
  • Develop and implement effective clinical affiliation agreements to meet the needs of our students and faculty.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance our clinical programs and attract new partners.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations established by clinical facilities.
  • Orient and mentor new clinical faculty to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Complete clinical faculty observations and evaluations to ensure high-quality instruction.
  • Conduct routine site visits to ensure instructional compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee student clinical hour completion to ensure students meet course requirements.
  • Work with faculty and staff to arrange student remediation events and ensure timely submission of grades.
  • Manage faculty and student health requirements, including Complio compliance.
  • Coordinate clinical facility placement to ensure students meet clinical objectives.
  • Provide clinical instruction as needed and teach one clinical course per term.
  • Substitute for clinical shifts and participate in department meetings and shared governance committees.
Requirements:
  • Current and active California license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Four (4) years of bedside or clinical nursing experience within the past five (5) years.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card.
  • Previous work experience in a patient care setting, hospitals, and/or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Up-to-Date Immunization Records.
Work Environment:
  • Standard office, classroom, or clinical setting.
  • Typically, duties are performed in an office environment while sitting at a desk or computer workstation.
  • An incumbent is subject to contact with others, frequent interruptions, noise from talking or office equipment, and demanding timelines.
Physical Demands:
  • The incumbent regularly sits for extended periods.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties as assigned to the program or department.
  • Proficient in operating electronic keyboards and other office machines.
  • Effective verbal communication skills in answering telephones and providing information with clarity and distinctness.
  • Ability to read fine print and operate computers with precision.
  • Ability to understand voices over the telephone and in person.
  • Able to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing between 10-25 pounds as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
