Job Summary:
As a Clinical Operations Specialist RN, you will provide project management analysis, recommendations, and decision support for complex clinical nursing and patient care issues. You will work closely with teams to address and develop recommendations for current and future operations and clinical processes. Your expertise will promote internal and external communications, and you will manage project teams, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead redesign projects related to nursing and patient care services, including coordination, design, delivery, and management.
  • Identify methods to reduce cost structures and maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to project teams.
  • Work with leadership and staff to implement programs.
  • Recommend project strategy, identify best methods and processes, and develop project planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and sponsors to define project charters, frameworks, and deliverables.
  • Ensure quality and effectiveness of research.
  • Monitor and maintain timelines and budgets.
  • Contract with and manage internal and external consultants.
  • Coordinate internal and external communication and represent the project to internal and external groups.

Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in management and/or project management/operational planning.
  • BSN or bachelor's degree in a related field (such as management, organization development, health services administration) required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License (California).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Kaiser Permanente preferred.
  • Masters degree preferred.
