QualificationsEducation Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school is required
- Completion of an accredited residency program is mandatory
- For specialty physicians, completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to the medical specialty is required
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current MD license in the relevant state
- Board certification or eligibility is necessary
- Current DEA license is required
