Nurse Practitioner

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Matthews area. As a Nurse Practitioner with CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary and family evidence-based care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Perform administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, and verifying insurance and collecting payment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
- A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Experience in family medicine or primary care practice is preferred.
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Ability to provide holistic, evidence-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
