Admissions Advisor Role Overview

At Orbis Education, we're seeking a motivated and empathetic Admissions Advisor to play a vital role in providing college students with the roadmap for success. As an integral part of our team, you'll work closely with prospective students, leveraging your exceptional communication and conversational skills to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Heart and Hustle: Work autonomously to manage phone calls, emails, meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions, while maintaining a high level of organization and adaptability.
  • Collaborator and Influencer: Use your passion for serving others to provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, promoting student success and institutional enrollment growth.
  • Organized and Flexible: Prioritize competing priorities, manage your time effectively, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Required; don't have a degree? Ask about our degree requirement and employee education benefits.
  • Outstanding Time Management Skills: Demonstrate your ability to prioritize tasks, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Clear Communication Skills: Explain complex information to students, colleagues, and leadership, while developing your listening skills.
  • Self-Motivated to Learn & Implement: Excel at learning from mistakes, strategize to shorten the learning curve, and take ownership of your time with students.
  • High Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrate empathy when coaching diverse students, develop and nurture partner relationships, and maintain a supportive environment.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, and you'll work with digital tools to execute your work and stay accountable.
