Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician for a contract role.
Work Environment:
This position requires full onsite presence. Candidates should be prepared to work either a 4/10 or 5/40 schedule.
Incentives:
SIGN ON BONUS:
15% of total hours worked will be compensated upon successful completion of the contract, provided there are no performance or workmanship issues.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in running wire and pinning cannon plugs.
- Experience in finalizing fiber installations to components.
- Must submit training documentation with resume (e.g., FOD & Tool Control, Non-powered Ground Support Equipment, Egress Systems Familiarization, HAZMAT Storage/Handling, Aircraft records management).
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a variety of tasks in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical domains.
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain various equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and both written and verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in the required format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepare necessary compounds and solutions.
- Execute tasks related to running wire and pinning cannon plugs, and finalizing fiber installations.
Education Requirement:
- Must possess an accredited High School Diploma or GED.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Schedule may vary between 4/10 or 5/40 based on business needs.
- 1st Shift
