As a Logistic and Aircraft Maintenance SME you’ll bring your consulting and aircraft expertise as you lead a team on projects for defense. You’ll provide technical oversight to verify aircraft instrumentation requirements. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes pertaining to aircraft instrumentation.
You’ll oversee the work we do for the DoD and the solutions we deliver for military missions.

You Have:
Experience with specialized instrumentation systems used to measure and record test parameters in a variety of environmental, field, or laboratory conditions or is an expert on a specific weapon’s system
Experience in all phases of studies and systems development with an emphasis on providing specialized insights into a complex topic
Experience providing technical oversight to verify aircraft instrumentation requirements have been accurately defined for all scheduled test missions being supported
Knowledge of aircraft instrumentation
Ability to provide technical expertise and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive expertise of the subject matter for effective implementation.
Ability to apply principles, methods, and expertise of the functional area of capability to specific tasking requirements and give inputs to design and fabrication of instrumentation, can conduct installations
Ability to perform and lead, supporting technicians in the proper pre or post mission installation, calibration, and functional status checks of uniquely mounted airborne installation systems in a variety of aircraft, and weapon systems
Ability to lead with overall responsibility for planning, conducting, analyzing results, preparing test or technical reports and physical security of equipment, electronic systems, devices, and techniques in support of airborne electronic warfare and weapons development programs. Post-test-inspects instrumentation components and assess health of components

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
