Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Hunt Companies, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our properties, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and comfortable for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians and employees, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Director to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion.
  • Establish emergency on-call procedures and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Participate in the make-ready process for vacant units and ensure they are ready for occupancy.
  • Conduct regular training and evaluations of subordinate maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, maintenance, and operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced training or degree in building maintenance, management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • OSHA 10 certification and HVAC/EPA certification required.
