Job Description:

As a System Administrator at MassGenics, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage user access and permissions to ensure secure and efficient system usage.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including backups and updates, to prevent downtime and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and easy onboarding of new team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of system administration, networking, and security principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration.
  • Knowledge of Thin Manager, VMWare, HyperV, Domain, and Backup and Recovery Acronis.
