Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC as a Ventilator Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory patient care to ventilator patients in various settings, ensuring optimal outcomes and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of ventilator patients to identify their needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Administer respiratory therapy interventions, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway clearance techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and effective communication.
  • Provide education and training to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Document patient interactions, progress, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ventilator equipment, technologies, and best practices in respiratory care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Assist with authorization for ventilator referrals and participate in discharge planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
  • CPR certification and valid driver's license.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with ventilator experience.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and performance.
