Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Ventilation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients with ventilator-dependent conditions. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Provide individualized respiratory care to patients with ventilator-dependent conditions, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and airway clearance.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on proper use of respiratory equipment, medication administration, and disease management.
  • Equipment Management: Troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers.
  • Communication: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
  • Licensure: Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
  • Certification: CPR certification.
  • Experience: One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • Skillset: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
