Drama Teacher Wanted for a Thriving School in Northwest London

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Drama Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Drama Teacher, you will have the opportunity to lead dynamic and enriching drama lessons, contribute to exciting school productions, and support students in exploring their talents and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging and High-Quality Drama Lessons: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, using innovative teaching strategies and materials to inspire and motivate students.
- Develop and Implement Effective Teaching Strategies: You will have the opportunity to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and materials to support student learning and progress.
- Foster a Supportive and Inclusive Classroom Environment: You will be responsible for fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to take risks, explore their creativity, and develop their skills and talents.
- Contribute to School Productions and Extracurricular Activities: You will have the opportunity to contribute to school productions and extracurricular activities, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality performances and events.
- Assess and Monitor Student Progress: You will be responsible for assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback to support their development and progress.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant Teaching Qualification: You will need to hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and have a strong subject knowledge and passion for drama education.
- Proven Experience: You will need to have proven experience in delivering effective drama lessons and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative Team Player: You will need to be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
