Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at LabCorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including patient service centers and client offices. This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule that includes Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, as well as Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities:

Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous LabCorp experience
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Benefits:

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
