Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our dedicated team at Mercyhealth Harvard Care Center. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care across various settings.

Certification Requirements
  • Illinois RN License is mandatory.
  • CPR Certification is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care by executing treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Monitor patients closely and report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
  • Administer medications as permitted by policy, licensure, and the State Practice Act.
  • Respond promptly and safely to patient requests, ensuring significant observations are communicated to the RN.
  • Understand and implement the patient's care plan under the guidance of the RN.
  • Maintain knowledge of hospital and nursing policies to ensure compliance.
  • Recognize emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing measures while seeking assistance as needed.
  • Educate patients on self-care practices as per the teaching plan provided by the RN.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Possession of a current Illinois RN License.
  • Valid CPR Certification.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Flu.
Work Schedule
  • One shift per week.
  • Shift hours: 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
