LPN Shamrock Nursing and Rehab Professional

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Shamrock Nursing and Rehab is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
Supervise nursing assistants and ensure they are providing care in accordance with resident care plans and facility policies.
Participate in the orientation of new residents and their families to the facility and provide education on resident care and services.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
Graduate of an approved LPN program.
Current, unencumbered LPN license in this state.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to make independent decisions and take initiative in providing care and resolving issues.
