Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Team Lead to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for leading assigned staff in performing medical and diagnostic imaging activities or tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow.
  • Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.
  • Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching.
  • Provide input to staff performance evaluations.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • ARRT (R) or Florida CRT licensure.
  • High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
