Radiology Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Radiology Tech to join our team at HCA Florida West Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supervising and evaluating subordinate personnel, and ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and evaluate subordinate personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate the flow of daily activities in the assigned area(s) of responsibility, ensuring efficient and effective operation of our imaging services.
- Interface with other departments, physicians, and their office staff, patients, families, visitors, and Radiology employees as needed.
- Perform duties of imaging technologist, including call rotation coverage, and assist radiologists and other department technologists as needed.
- Prepare schedules for assigned staff and manage daily workflow of unit operations.
- Participate in team interviews with candidates for positions in assignment area and provide input for performance appraisals of assigned team members.
- Assist with implementation of policies and procedures to meet the various accrediting agencies regulations and laws.
- Maintain equipment and supplies as they relate to imaging department and delegate tasks to the appropriate caregiver.
- Participate in Diagnostic Imaging specific initiatives and process improvement and support the Mission, Vision, and Values of the organization.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum 3 years directly related experience in hospital setting.
- Previous Lead or Charge experience strongly preferred.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R).
- Completion of a two (2) year accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
